Donald Mason came to us when one of our sofas got ripped during the moving process. Donald was able to repair the ripped leather (to our surprise it was vinyl!) by heating it, molding and dyeing it. The finished product looks fantastic! Unless you look with a magnifying glass, it looks like it has never been damaged. Daughter's dog chewed a hole in our new brown leather couch. Luckily we found Donald at Mason/Anastansia. We called and then emailed pictures. Donald gave us a quote over the phone, came out the next morning! Wish I could post before and after photos---Perfect ! I couldn't believe it... and his final price was less than the quote! I have a tan Natuzzi leather sofa, 16 years old which was shipped from Italy.
One section was cracked and dried out, My husband didn't want to part with it!
I on the other hand who just love this furniture, because it's one of those staples that never go out of style,with that said, I told my husband, let's just get new! Once i started looking around and saw what pure junk was out there, we decided to call, Donald, he came to my house 2 hours later, FREE OF CHARGE!!! I THOUGHT , Oh boy, im gonna get talked into redoing the whole sofa over, NOPE, my husband and I were so impressed by Don!!!! HE told us I can just do the one piece cause the rest of the sofa is like NEW!!! it's up to you? but you will never be able to replace the quality of this sofa, they don't make them like this anymore! OK,very Fair price, once we said... Yes!! He said let me get started!!! What??? here I thought this was gonna take weeks, and with the Holidays coming, and a house full of company, I said, Humm I better wait!
well to my suprise, Don went to his van came in with his tools, and BOOM, TOOK the sofa apart, in matter of an hour, that was the easy part, Now Im thinking how can he ever get it to Match??? 4 days later I get a call, It all done can I come over,OMG, so excited, he comes at the time he says he will be here, and when he walks in the door we see the leather and boom, a Perfect MATCH!!! Donald is AMAZING AT HIS CRAFT!! THEY DON'T COME LIKE him anymore, He put the whole sofa back together, in 1 hour, and told me how to care for and protect it, we are BEYOND HAPPY AND SATISFIED BY FINDING A GEM LIKE DONALD MASON! Not only is he great, and professional, he is entertaining, and someone I could regard to after meeting him as a FRIEND!! Thanks again Donald!!!!

Donald totally transformed our prized wing chair which had incurred extensive damage, the leather on both arm rests was trashed and totally worn out.
The chair had good bones, a strong well made frame and pleasing lines so we opted to have it reupholstered.
The finished result is better than the original.

I wish I could attach the before and after pictures I took yesterday when Donald came over to repair my beige perforated leather car seat! (I tried to clean a 1" mark that I thought was adhesive and 3" of color was removed along with some of the nap from the leather.) I brought it to the Lincoln Dealer and one of their service advisor's told me nothing can be done. Since I didn't believe him after seeing this website,I waited two days for the detailing dept. Mgr who never called. I called Donald, he came over for a free estimate and 2 hours later that dark 3 inch circle disappeared and I can tell you there is no difference in color and I could never tell that there was a 3inch stain on my cream colored seat! I am very happy and with the quality of work and the attitude of Donald.

After purchasing a new leather soft/love-seat, our 6 month old puggle somehow took the slip cover off and chewed the piping on 2 stationary pillows 2 days after purchase!!! All I can say is that if you need upholstery repair contact Mason Anastasia, Inc. I am a perfectionist & I needed the front seats of my vehicle repaired. I called Don & he came over within the hour. He looked at the seats & told me what was needed. We set a date for the repair. Don was early. He removed the seats & took them to his shop. I have had many workmen come to my home for repair work during the last 40 years but I have never given any testimonials or feedback on anyone until I had work done by Don Mason and now feel compelled to do so. I contacted Don about two 18 yr old white leather couches I have that were really grimy and worn and in particular one cushion almost bare from the dog scratching. I had another technician in my home a year ago to repair a new leather recliner that I had purchased and was mechanically giving us a problem. He also did leather cleaning so I asked him about cleaning these white couches and he said no they were in too bad of a shape and wouldn’t clean up. Since they are perfect for the room and the frames were in good shape, I decided to look online for a company on the island to reupholster them and that’s when I accidentally found the web page for Mason Anastasia, Inc. Don came to my home the next day and told me he could restore these couches and replace the worn cushion with new leather that would give me many more years of use. He gave me a price that was extremely reasonable for the job needing done. Another problem was that my husband is undergoing chemo and I was concerned about him being in the house with the fumes if any. Don rearranged his schedule on short notice to come back in a couple of days to do the job when my husband was going to be away all day for treatment. He arrived in the morning and set up his work station in my living room and we left. I came home later that night to find the job done, everything cleaned up like he had never been there and two couches that looked like new. It was amazing. The stitching on the leather cushion he replaced was a perfect match to all the other cushions. This is a true master craftsman, a rare find in this day and age. He is extremely professional, trustworthy and does impeccable work and I can’t thank him enough. I most certainly will use him again. He is highly recommended and I will be sure to let all my family and friends know about his company. Oh and I forgot, that mechanical problem with the recliner never was fixed correctly and he even did that for me without charge.

I have two chairs that were purchased in Spain, they are inlaid in ivory and the backing and seat are leather, due to many years of wear the back of the leather chair split in two. I have to say not only was Donald very accommodating but my chairs look new. Donald took a 1960's Arne Norell chair in a terrible state of disrepair and restored it to its original beauty. Prior to reupholstering it, he took the time to study the mechanics of the chair and understood the best way to recreate not just the beauty, but the comfort, of the original. The final result, picked up and delivered within a week, met our high expectations - it is beautiful! In one word - amazing! We dropped off a badly torn leather ottoman and within less than 48 hours had a brand new one. Mr.Mason does excellent leather repair. He has over the last three years repaired my leather couch three times from damage done by my dog. After he was done the couch looked like new again. The color of the leather was perfect.The most recent repair required the replacing of two complete leather cushions.. I would recommend Mr. Mason anytime...
